For our Quality Team we are looking for you as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer:
Task Description/Responsibilities:
Objective is to perform quality assurance tasks within national and international projects for safety critical embedded software in the aerospace domain. The detailed tasks include:
- Performance of quality inspections and reviews for development tasks:
- Assess life cycle data and products
- Witness development and verification tasks
- Monitoring of configuration and change control activities:
- Management of development data
- Participate in Change Control Board
- Check conformance of Problem Reports to guidelines and PR closure status
- Review configuration indexes and configuration management records
- Support of the project Quality Assurance Leader for:
- Quality assurance planning
- Process and product audits
- Quality assurance monitoring of suppliers for development
- Milestone and phase transition reviews
- Delivery and conformity reviews
- Recording, analysis and management of deviations and non-conformities
- Regular internal and external reporting
Qualification/Experience:
- Due to the fact that the position is related to a military project, the nationality (both birthplace and current status) of any employee involved in this project may only be of a NATO-country or a NATO-partner country.
- Knowledge / Experience for at least 3 to 5 years in the quality assurance activities required for development of safety-critical embedded software
- Technical background in safety critical embedded software is required
- Experience in the implementation of quality assurance processes is required
- Experience in configuration and change management (preferably with Serena Dimensions and IBM Rational Synergy CM/Change) is required
- Knowledge of the applicable aerospace standards is desirable (e.g. DO178C, DO330, DO331, EN9100)
- Experience as qualified aerospace auditor is desirable
- Experience with Microsoft office (Excel and Word) is required
- Language Reference level for English of at least B2 (CEFR) is required
